Providing our clients deep tissue and firm pressure body work doesn’t have to hurt, them OR us. This course will delve into how Massage Therapists can provide fantastic therapeutic massage sessions without pain.
Injury prevention isn’t just about what to avoid. This intermediate course will give therapists the tools they need to provide deep tissue massage without relying solely on our thumbs.
In this course you will learn:
- Why the anatomy of our hands and arms helps clients but may hurt us.
- Simple, easy to follow principles for preventing injury, including body mechanics and ergonomics.
- How to provide "Thumb-Free" Deep Tissue techniques for the neck, back, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
