Doreen Knows Massage Envy
Doreen became a Massage Therapist and joined Massage Envy in the same year, 2005. Over the past 20 years Doreen has been a massage therapist, a front desk associate, a manager, a regional trainer, regional director, and franchisee for the brand.
Doreen opened over 50 Massage Envy locations in NJ, OH, KY, WV (and a sliver of IN), doing the training for both front and back of the house. She believes strongly in hands-on training, especially for our Massage Therapists.
Doreen has long wanted to address the gap in ME’s Massage Therapist training. Therapists learn by giving and receiving a service, so why not do that AND give therapists the CEs they need?
This is why the Doreeno Method was created.

What’s In It For You?
All of the Doreeno Method classes align with Massage Envy’s policies, procedures, and protocols. If you send your Massage Therapists to a Doreeno Method Course, they will be able to do everything they learned in clinic the next day.
Our classes follow Massage Envy services and enhancements, giving your providers CE credits to learn how to not only do the service, but also how to recommend it to clients.

- We can even do a CBD workshop, although not for CE credits.
How Does It All Work?
You have options! If you can get together at least 6 therapists per class:
- I can come to the clinic and train there. Generally clinics stay open and I use the Couples’ room and one or two others, you warn clients that there will be training.
- You can rent a space (like a room at a hotel or a VFW hall) and therapists bring massage tables to train offsite.
- You connect me with your favorite local massage school. Classes will be open to the public, but ME Therapists would get a discount.
We can even use Doreeno Method CE Courses as Recruiting Events, with your location/region Sponsoring reduced cost CEs for the public.

Our massage therapists in all three of our Massage Envy locations were excited to hear about Doreen Ellinwood’s “Thumb-Free Deep Tissue” class.
